Rebel Race 5K – 10.20.12

Mark your calendars because I FOUND IT!!!  The next obstacle race on the horizon is the Rebel Race 5k.  It will be happening on October 20th in southern Maryland about an hour and a half drive away.  Now if you haven't looked at your calendar yet, you only have about 5 and 1/2 weeks of training/preparation time for this event (which is a good time frame to train for a 5k).

If you haven't done an obstacle race before, this would be a good one to start with.  My fellow Spartans and obstacle veterans, this would be a good one to run for time/fun/a different experience.  (Check it out here)

Some of the details for ya':

     -Race Cost:  $75 til Oct 3rd ($85 after that) - Groups of 20 or more are discounted
     -Camping Cost:  $115 to stay on site Fri night
     -Camp Site Size:  20' x 20'
     -Up to 6 people allowed in one site location
     -Bring your own tent
     -No individual campfires
